Would you say it is offensive to dress and kinda look like a dyke without actually being a lesbian? My style is slightly inspired by a dyke's look and someone was offended and told me I shouldn't dress like that without being a lesbian. I felt bad. I didn't think it would matter. Was that just because of this one person or do you think it's mainly a bad idea for a straight girl to dress as a dyke when she doesn't want to offend anyone?
Honestly, you should dress how you feel comfortable. Not all lesbians have the same style, and some you wouldn’t even know were lesbian in the first place. I can see how you might be mistaken for a lesbian but by no means should your style be offensive to anyone.
